Your doctor has prescribed an essential treatment for your disease. It has to be taken by mouth and comes in capsule form.
- Its effectiveness is comparable to same drug given by intravenous infusion.
- The side effects are also similar, which calls for the same vigilance as for intravenous treatment.
- Swallowing capsules is easier than getting an intravenous infusion. However, this requires strict observance of the dose prescribed and the day of administration.
Opening the blister pack
1. Cut the blister pack with scissors along the dotted lines.
2. Gently peel back the blister pack’s white film.
3. Press on the clear plastic to expel the capsule.

WHAT TO DO
Before the administration
The drug MUST be kept in the refrigerator (+2° to +8°C). Before each administration of your treatment, the results of your blood test will be checked by a doctor.
During the administration
Swallow your capsules whole, with water. It is recommended that all the prescribed capsules be taken:
After the administration
For safety reasons, any damaged or unused capsule must be returned to the doctor or to the hospital pharmacist. In case of contact of the liquid contained in the capsule with the skin, lips, mouth or eyes, immediately wash thoroughly with water or preferably with normal saline solution

Before the administration
Keep this treatment out of the reach of other persons, especially children.
During the administration
Do not use the NAVELBINE® capsule if you notice that it is crushed or that the capsule’s liquid has leaked out.
After the administration
Do not take any other drug without the approval of your doctor. Some drugs are contraindicated because they can affect the activity of this treatment.
